I am excited about beginning my seventh year as Principal of Lewisburg Middle School. I want to tell you a little about myself. I have been married to Lezli Meadows, a teacher at Lewisburg High School, for 15 years and we have a 10 year old daughter, Presley, and a 7 year old son, Paxton. We live in Nesbit and are members of DeSoto Hills Baptist Church.
I received my Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee at Martin and my Masters degree in Education from the University of Arkansas. I began my professional career in the corporate world. I soon realized the corporate world was not for me because I wanted the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people on a daily basis. What better way to do that than to become an educator! I began my educational career at HLHS where I was baseball coach, athletic director and assistant principal for the past 8 years.
I consider it an honor and privilege to be Principal at Lewisburg Middle School. My goal is to provide our students with a safe environment where learning at the highest level takes place. I want to provide our students with classes and extra-curricular activities to discover their passions and become lifelong learners. I embrace the opportunity and challenge of continuing to make LMS the best middle school it can be. This will take hard work and dedication from our students, parents, staff and our community.
I look forward to a great school year!
