I graduated from Delta State University in 1994.

Experience

I have been teaching for a total of 22 years. I taught 2nd grade in Greenwood, Mississippi for two years. I taught 5th grade for one year and 2nd grade for seven years in Vicksburg, Mississippi. After moving to Desoto County, I taught 1st grade for four years at Greenbrook Elementary in Southaven. I have now been at Lewisburg Middle School the past eight years where I taught one year of 8th grade and seven years of 6th grade.

Bio

My husband and I have been married for 24 years. We moved to Desoto County about 16 years ago.  We have lived in the Lewisburg community for the past 12 years.  We have three precious children. Our oldest, Blake, graduated from Lewisburg High School in 2016 and has been attending Mississippi State University where he will graduate this year. (Hail State) Our daughter, Jenna Claire, graduated from LHS in (2019).  She is  attending Delta State University this year.  Our youngest son, Cannon, is in 5th grade at Lewisburg Elementary School. We have been members of New Prospect Baptist Church for the past 9 years.  We love our church family and our Lewisburg community.
