About the Teacher

I graduated from SBEC in 2003. I then attended and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction.

I began teaching 6th grade Math at Desoto Central Middle. I taught there for five years teaching 6th and 8th grade Math. Then I moved to Dyer County, TN where I taught Math for two years and was the Middle School Instructional Coach for two years. I decided to come back home to Desoto County. This is my third year as a Lewisburg Patriot!!

I love teaching especially middle schoolers!! My family is very important to me. I have a daughter named Addison that takes up a lot of my time, however, I do enjoy to shop, cook, and watch Ole Miss athletics!! Hotty Toddy!!
