8th Grade English
Information:
To all my wonderful students:
As this is the last week of our distance learning, please know how much I missed this time with you! I missed you telling me about all your sports games and competitions, the books you've been reading, the tv shows you've devoured, and the jokes you'd make in class. Teaching behind a computer is never something I thought I'd be doing, and while I was so glad to be able to interact with some of you, I know I couldn't interact with you all, and I miss every one of you so much. So here's to the hugs I never gave, the shouts of "have a fun summer" never yelled, and the last waves I never made as you finally finished your last day of middle school.
Miss y'all so much,
Mrs. Hart

EducationI graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2012 with a B.A. in English and History.I then graduated again from the University of Mississippi in 2013 with a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. |
ExperienceI taught 8th grade ELA at Desoto Central Middle School from 2013 to 2016.I then moved to Cincinnati where I taught 8th grade Literature at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy from 2016 to 2019.I am very excited to start my 7th year of teaching here at Lewisburg Middle School. |
BioI grew up in Hernando, Mississippi, and my husband Ryan and I are glad to be in the Desoto County area after living in Cincinnati for several years. We are proud pet owners of our puppy (Pistol) Pete and our cat Ellie.I am a huge Ole Miss fan, and I can be found in front of the tv every Saturday in the fall rooting on my Rebs and my adopted team, the Oklahoma State Cowboys. I love to travel, and I've been very blessed to hit many of the countries on my bucket list. I even got to meet my husband in Dublin while on a trip to Europe. Being an English teacher, I'm also a massive reader, and I love to read any and everything! Trust me, I've got recommendations for everything. |
