The self contained class at LMS is also called the community based classroom (CBC). This program is for students with disabilities who are significantly below grade level. It is designed to provide individualized instruction based on a child's IEP goals and current performance levels. The structure of the classroom provides small group and one on one instruction that is so vital to the success of these students.

ExperienceI began teaching in January of 2014 at Magnolia School in Horn Lake, Mississippi. I then taught a self-contained behavior class at Lewisburg Elementary.I began teaching at LMS in August of 2015. I have taught inclusion, resource classes, and this year I am excited to begin my first year in the community based classroom. |
BioI have lived in the Tate/DeSoto County area all of my life. I have two children, Reese is in 6th grade at LMS and Carson is in the 4th grade at LES. We live in Independence, and we are members at the Independence Church of Christ.I enjoy watching sports and photography in my free time. |
