I'm so excited to be back in school, and I hope you are too!  First thing to do...RELAX! Take a deep breathe and know that we will have a great year. Parents, you may use the "contact" link below to communicate with me.

Students carry all their belongings with them throughout the day. Keeping that in mind, please leave any unnecessary items at home.  Items to bring, in addition to requested supplies, are a screw top water bottle, jacket/sweater. Please no sodas or teas.

Please make sure you read, sign and return the 6th Grade Math Letter. It gives important information about the expectations in math class. Keep the top portion at home to refer to as needed.

I'm excited to begin our new year together. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

About the teacher

I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2010 upon completing my degree in Elementary Education.  I am highly qualified to teach Elementary Education, 7-12 English and 7-12 Mathematics.

My teaching experience began at Desoto Central Elementary in 2010 - 2011 with third grade.  I then moved to Overpark Elementary where I taught third grade for six years and fourth grade for three years.  I began my middle school experience in 2019 at Lewisburg Middle. August of 2022 will begin my 13th year of teaching.

I am a long time resident of Olive Branch.  Attended Olive Branch High School and continued to Northwest for an Associates Degree in Fashion Merchandising.  While staying home with my children, I decided to return to school and obtain my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

Allow me to introduce my family.  I have been married twenty-eight years to my husband, Raymond.  We have two wonderful children, Katie and Dawson and a daughter in law, Anna.  Katie will be a Junior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Civil Engineering. Dawson specializes in train derailments and Anna stays home with our precious grandson, Wyatt.  Also included in my family are two furry babies; our dog Drake, and our cat Calie.  Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, Ole Miss ballgames, reading, and gardening.

I'm excited to be your child's teacher.  I have a passion for helping students grow in their knowledge and develop their love of learning.
