Supplies List: ( Have your supplies by August 11th)

 

- 2 folders with pockets and brads

- 24 No. 2 Pencils           

-2 Large Boxes of Tissue

-Students need to have their own notebook paper and pencils for class.

-Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

-The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

-The Call of the Wild by Jack London (UNABRIDGED)

-The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey (not the workbook)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Class Expectations:

1. Be prepared for class. Bring your materials, pencil, and a book to read for our independent reading time DAILY.

2. Turn in all assignments when they are due. If you are absent on the due date, you are to turn in your assignment when you walk in the following day. It is also your responsibility to check the Make-Up work station and complete any reading or assignments within the allotted time.

3. Restroom breaks will be granted at the teacher’s discretion.

4. During class time, always keep a positive attitude towards the teacher and your fellow students. Respect others by listening when they speak and not speaking over them.

5. Technology must be used appropriately in the classroom. Appropriate use is when the teacher gives specific permission to the student to utilize his/her device for a classroom-related activity.
