Classroom Rules:

1. Be prepared for class. Bring your materials, pencil, and a book to read for our independent reading time DAILY. (We will have an independent book for each 9 weeks that the student will read on his/her own time.  The student will complete assignments based on this book.  The first one is chosen for you- Michael Vey Prisoner of Cell 25 by Richard Paul Evans.

2. Be at school.  Only miss when you are sick or have an emergency as we will cover lots of ground in one day.  Turn in all assignments whey they are due.  If you are absent on the due date, you are to turn in assignments as soon as you return.  It is your responsiblity to check the Make-Up work station and complete any reading or assignment within the alloted time.

3.Restroom breaks will be taken during the middle of our block class time.

4. During class time, always keep a positive attitude towards the teacher and your fellow students.  Respect others by listening when they speak and not speaking over them.

5. Technology must be used appropriately in the classroom.  Appropraite use is when the teacher gives you specific permission to utilize the device for classroom purposes.
